Journal #6

When you blame someone for something they didn't do there is an enormous amount of space for stiff to go horribly wrong. For instance, if I were to accuse Nick of the horrendous crime of stealing my pencil. Then everyone else in the room starts telling Nick that he should give my pencil back. But what we all don't know is that Kara was the real criminal here, because she is the actual person who stole my pencil. And so because we all blamed Nick, we all have the subconscious feeling that it was Nick. So we do something stupid like burning Nick with flammable lemons. Then after disposing of Nick, Kara decides to tell everyone that she was the one who stole the pencil. Thus causing the whole class to feel really bad about killing Nick. So we all do the obvious thing, and burn Kara with lemons. Then we all feel bad about killing Nick, and decide to use necromancy to bring him back from the dead. So the repercussions of falsely accusing someone of something they didn't do is clearly a lot of murder, and some necromancy. No one was ever hurt by a little necromancy. Well except all the people that were. Obviously this blog is supposed to be about the Crucible so here is some references to said story. A lot of people are being accused of being witches. All of them are not witches. But a lot of them are going to be hung because they are being told that they are witches. Similar to how we killed off Nick because we thought he stole my pencil. Then these accused witches sense of paranoia and fear lead them to accuse other innocent people of being witches and then nothing makes sense anymore, and you end up with crab people ruling the world. And so that is the result of accusing someone of something they didn't do. Paranoia, fear, combustable lemons, crab people, and worst of all, a world where bears are smarter than the average bear.
